The Bruising of Clouds

The Bruising of Clouds

The playscript for Sean McLoughlin's latest play.

Kelly thinks Martin is a strange but lovely youngfella. Deano thinks Martin is definitely not a youngfella, and that he should keep his paws off his girlfriend. Martin thinks bad karma is going to destroy everything around him, including Kelly, and maybe Deano

This new play tells the story of an unlikely couple falling into each other, falling over each other and trying to help each other back up.

The Bruising of Clouds is a Dublin love story by Sean McLoughlin, also known as Sammy Gleeson. It was commissioned and first produced by Fishamble: The New Play Company, as part of the 2013 Dublin Theatre Festival. On tour to Axis, the Pavilion and the Civic Theatre.

The Bruising of Clouds is Fishambleís third production of a play by Sean McLoughlin following the great success of Big Ole Piece of Cake (2010) and Noah and the Tower Flower (2007) which won The Irish Times Theatre Award for Best New Play and Stewart Parker Trust Award.
